I began taking this product, along with piracetam. Beyond the funny smell and interesting taste, it has helped me along with a recovery, in my life. I take this product 5 days a week, twice a day. After about 30 minutes of ingesting this product, I begin to feel more focused. I take 500mg to 1000mg a day, and I've barely put a dent in the supply.(Purchased in June 2011) Overall, if looking to gain more concentration and focus in life, this product is invaluable. Nothing in life is perfect. However, considering how cheap of a choline source this is, this product comes somewhat close. When I first got it, all of the powder was in one giant clump, but it was pretty easy to break it all up. Yes, there is a fish smell, but it's natural. It's nothing worse than any fish oil supplements you might take. It tastes alright: like powdered lemon juice with some salt added to it. When you take into account the bulk of the product, along with the price, it's really not that bad. If you ever need a cheap, effective choline source, this would be your best bet.

Being in a partnership of over 11years with a man who works in the Seafood industry, it was easy to bypass the smell and blame it on his Grunden, however Choline Citrate does smell fishy and that is entirely normal. Anyone who has ever taken Borax would prefer the smell of Choline Citrate any day. This stuff is potent in smell AND efficacy.
